A Beach Goer Pulls Cash out of an Angry Birds Container they Found

An anonymous donor has been organizing large scavenger hunts at various beaches in south California since late May.  The hunts, which turned into a social media event, organized by someone with the Twitter handle @HiddenCash, ended today with a huge hunt at Hermosa Beach, which attracted hundreds of people.

The stranger has been hiding Angry Birds capsules with money inside.  The amounts range from $40 to $100.  The donor gave an anonymous interview to the LA Times, in which he or she said they had recently closed a large real estate deal and, “I love to give back. I would love to have more join me to give back more.”
