Ahmed Abu Kattala Taunted the US for Months Before he was Finally Captured

US commandos have captured Ahmed Abu Khattala, the leader of the attack on a US consulate in Benghazi, Libya in 2012 that killed four Americans.  Khattala, 42 years old, was charged by the Justice Department in August 2013 of terrorism but managed to avoid capture, despite mocking the US and giving interviews in public for American media like CNN.

A joint raid by Special Operation troops and the FBI captured Khattala outside of Benghazi and he was taken to a “secure location” inside the city to be interrogated.  He is now on a Navy Ship, being returned to the United States to stand trial in federal court in Washington DC.
