Malaysian Airlines is looking into a major brand restructure after two major tragedies this year has badly damaged the previously well-respected airline. The restructure will likely include new routes and more outsourcing, and possibly even a change of name. It is also seeking new investors having lost a large amount of money from the bad publicity.
Before this year, Malaysian Airlines was consistently ranked as one of the top 10 airlines in the world. But in March, Flight MH370, carrying 239 passengers and crew, disappeared and has never been found. Earlier this month, Flight MH17 was shot down over Ukraine, killing all 298 people on board.
