Tony Stewart Goes into Hiding Aftet Fatal NASCAR Crash

Stewart Sent a Plane to Retrieve his Belongings from his 15,700 sq ft Home

NASCAR driver Tony Stewart has been forced into hiding after he hit and killed fellow driver Kevin Ward Jr. in a night race several days ago.  Ward climbed out of his car in a rage and stood on the track, and was then hit by Stewart.  Since the crash, Stewart has received death threats and sent a private plane to his hometown of Columbus, Indiana, to retrieve his belongings.

The driver is reportedly “staying with friends” as the Ontario, New York Sheriff says they are still considering filing criminal charges against him.  Stewart has a long history of being hot-headed on the track but has claimed he couldn’t prevent his car from running over Ward.
