Protests Continue After Darren Wilson Found Not Guilty

A Motorist Runs Over the Leg of a Protesters in Minneapolis

Protests and violent confrontations continued for a second night throughout the US after a grand jury decided not to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting of unarmed teen Michael Brown.  24 people have been arrested in Boston, and a further two in New York City.  Authorities had been fearing a violent response if Wilson was found not guilty.

In Minneapolis, a motorist drove into a crowd of protesters, dragging a woman under his front wheel for 20 feet and running over her leg.  He then stopped for a second, before speeding off.  He has since been apprehended, and is being questioned by police, although he hasn’t been arrested.
