Couple Wins $1 Million in Bank of America Lawsuit


The Coniglios Now Have An Extra Million Dollars Two Weeks Before Christmas

Nelson and Joyce Coniglio, from Tampa, Florida, won over a million dollars in a lawsuit against Bank of America.  The couple were on the receiving end of “patterns of outrageous, abusive, and harassing conduct” according to the lawsuit after receiving over 740 calls in four years.

The primary reason they Coniglios won the lawsuit is that they sent multiple cease-and-desist letters to Bank of America.  Under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, debt collectors are forced to stop calling after being told to “whether it be in writing or verbally”.
