Apple has finally unveiled its long-anticipated Apple Watch at an event today. CEO Tim Cook announced the device had an 18-hour battery life with “typical use”. The watch comes in three models, the sport ($349), stainless steel Watch ($549) and the Edition (ranging from $10,000 to a staggering $15,000).
The watch has hands-free messaging, a heart monitor, and a touchscreen with numerous apps. Cook said, “This is the most personal device we have ever created. It’s not just with you, it’s on you.” When listening to music, the watch displays lyrics on its face, which Cook demonstrated at the event.
