Thirteen Killed in Mexican Tornado


Cars Were Lifted Onto Houses by the Powerful Winds

A tornado that hit Ciudad Acuna has killed 13 people and left over 150 injured.  The tornado was the first to hit the northern Mexican city, located near the border, since its foundation over a century ago.  A baby is also missing, having been strapped into a car seat when the tornado hit.

Across the border, the same storm system has caused massive flooding in Texas, killing 3 people and leaving 12 missing.  Recent storms have also caused heavy flooding in Oklahoma, killing 2 people in the state.
