Lafayette Theater Shooter Revealed to Be 59 Year-Old “Drifter”


Houser Flew a Swastika Banner in 2001 to Protest a City Council’s Decision to Revoke his Alcohol License for Serving Minors.

59 year-old John Russel Houser has been revealed to be the man who killed two woman at a theater in Lafayette, Louisiana, during a showing of the romantic comedy Trainwreck.  Houser shot and killed the two women sitting in front of him, 21 year-old Mayci Breaux and 33 year-old Jillian Johnson.  He then fired randomly at the crowd, injuring 9 before turning the gun on himself and committing suicide.

Houser was an admired of Timothy McVeigh, who killed 168 by bombing the Alfred P. Murrah Building in Oklahoma City in 1995.  He has previously called for more lone wolf attacks in the United States, calling the country a “filthy failing farm.”  He also admired Adolf Hitler, and was a supporter of the Westboro Baptist Church.
