Biden Gives Labor Day Speech as He Edges Closer to Running

The Vice-President Was Encouraged to Run By the Rowdy Crowd

Vice President Joe Biden appeared to move closer to joining Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders as the only viable Democratic candidates after a passionate Labor Day speech.  Vice-President Biden spoke to an enthusiastic crowd of steelworkers in Pittsburgh, with the crowd yelling “run Joe run!”

Biden’s poll numbers are about on par with Republican front-runner Donald Trump, with a recent CNN poll showing that voters who are abandoning Clinton after her email scandal are supporting Biden.  His speech denounced the rising gap between the wealthy and the poor, saying “the tax code’s not fair.  It’s simply not fair.”
