A massive 7.5 magnitude earthquake has killed hundreds in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The remote, mountainous region of Afghanistan known as Jurm was the epicenter and officials fear the surrounding area had the most damage. The area is controlled by Islamist militant groups, including ISIS.
At least 200 were killed in Pakistan, and the death toll is expected to rise significantly once rescue terms arrive in the area. Cellphone service was knocked out by the quake, meaning it has been difficult for authorities to accurately release any death toll.
