The gunman behind the attack on a learning center in San Bernardino, California has been identified as Syed Rizwan Farook. An employee the Inland Regional Center, Farook was attending the center’s holiday party when he left. He later returned with his wife Tashfeen Malik, and the couple fired on the party, leaving 14 dead and 21 injured.
Both Farook and Malik were killed by police in a shootout. He reportedly had a heated argument with colleague Nicholas Thalasinos, a Messianic Jew, over religion two weeks before the attack. Thalasinos was one of the victims of the shooting spree. Farook was also in touch with international terrorist subjects over Facebook in the weeks before the attack.
