Daniel Holtzclaw, a former Oklahoma City police officer, was found guilty on accounts sexual assault, out of the 26 accounts he was charged with. All of the victims were black women, ranging from a 17 year-old to a 50 year-old grandmother. He now faces a recommended sentence of 263 years in prison.
28 year-old Holtzclaw broke down in tears when he was found guilty, with witnesses saying he even “wailed.” Some of his supporters were in tears as well, with his defense attorneys trying to comfort him. Prosecutors said he intimidated his victims into not filing reports after the attacks.
