Former president Jimmy Carter’s grandson, Jeremt, has died aged 28. He wasn’t feeling well at his family’s home in Peachtree City, Georgia and told his mother he was going to take a nap. When she tried to wake him later, she realized his heart had stopped. He was taken to hospital, where he was declared dead. The cause of death is still unknown.
Jimmy Carter told his Sunday school class of the death, which made him late for church for the first time ever. Carter described Jeremy as a”very special child”, while a member of his congregation was quoted as saying, “life’s full of ups and downs, and the Carters aren’t immune.”
