Al-Shabaab are a Somali-Based Terrorist Organization
A group of Muslims protected Christians from an attack by Al-Shabaab on a bus in Mandera, Kenya. Al-Shabaab began asking who was Christians, so they could be killed. However, the Muslims, who were mainly women, refused to answer the terrorists, and said, “If you want to kill us, then kill us. There are no Christians here.”
The terrorists gave up and left, but warned that they would be back in the future. Two people did die in the attack, a Christian man who tried to run away and the driver of the truck that was behind the bus. Kenya’s interior cabinet secretary Joseph, Nkaissery, commended the actions of the Muslims, saying, “we are all Kenyans, we are not separated by religion.”
